radiator hoses are know to collapse especially the bottom hose when the radiator cores become blocked or the spring in the hose rusts away and no longer supports the hose.
Hoses should be replaced when they are larger than the hose clip holding them on as this an indication of the binding fabric in the rubber is rotting away and no longer doing the job.

This sounds more like the fuel pump. EGR and Cat give warning signs. BUT before you run out and buy a new fuel pump. FIRST check any and all fuses to see if you may have just a blown fuse. NEXT:: Try squirting some fuel down the intake or use a starting fluid spray if she starts you are on the right tract for a bad fuel pump. If she does fire up on the spray and you have no blown fuses then it may be time for the fuel pump RnR. Hope this helps FixYa up.
Sorry, the fuel pump is located in the fuel tank, you have to drop the tank to RnR the pump. You can try and run an inline pump but it is not recommended due to being reduced from pulling fuel through the old pump and sock filter inside the tank. hope this helps Fix ya up...
You will need an adaptor, there are two for the Impala one does not have door chime one does, cost about $80.oo to $100.oo. You have to pull the trim ring to access the screws. It is best to take it to an audio shop let them do the RnR.
