My 2004 hyundai santa fe sport 3.5l 3500cc v6 engine acted like it was seizing up late yesterday and now the engine is shaking so bad when i give it gas it vibrates the whole steering wheel
I checked my oil and its where it should be it has never overheated and ive lost no fluids it does however have 228,000 miles on it but my check engine light hasnt come on before during or since, it needs a tune up but other than that it ran perfect before this happened
Re: My 2004 hyundai santa fe sport 3.5l 3500cc v6 engine...
The tune up needed is probably replacement of the injectors as most problems as you describe comes from bad injectors
have the fault codes read to check for failing , crank ,cam position sensors or other sensors that affect performance

dear friend-before you even look at the gearbox, have a look at the TPS sensor,as this sensor acts on information from various other sensors and can affect
the gear changing pattern to its information.
If your Santa Fe has a V6 engine 2.7L , it sounds like you have an ignition break down happening. You will need to renew all the ignition wires and check the two coils also for arcing .
