Question about 2005 Toyota Tacoma
My temperature and compass display are no longer working. The screen is not foggy, it is just blank.
The 10 amp IGI #2 fuse controls several other components including the
dome light, cruise control, and brake lights. If these are working but
the compass is dim, intermittent, or dead then the control module has
gone bad. You can get a replacement from toyota but I believe it costs
I offer a repair service with a lifetime warranty. Check it out:

'05 - '09 Tacoma temp and compass gauge displays commonly 'burn out' due to component failure on the circuit board; this is not due to a fuse, and the dealership charges $200 or more for the new part.
However, we permanently fix the problem using all new components and a lead wire underlayment as a heatsink. See our site for more info: http://www.toyotatacomacompassrepair.com
Thanks and good luck...silicongeek
