SOURCE: 2006 Envoy stalling when idels and won't stay running
Clean your Throttle body and pay attention to the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve passageway to try to clean the IAC. A dirty or faulty IAC will cause your engine to stall at idle, the job of the IAC is to open the passage way through the throttle body to regulate the amount of air to enter the engine to keep it from stalling when the Envoy is at idle.
Start with the simple and clean the throttle body and inspect any loose or damaged wire leads to the throttle body. Replace or repair any signs of damage.
Thank you for using Fixya and good luck.
SOURCE: how do you replace tailgate struts on a gmc 2006
There should just be metal clips on each end. Use a thin/standard screwdriver and pry out on the clips. They won't come off completey, but just pop out a little ways. Once they do, just pull and wiggle the strut and it should pop off the ball it's snapped on to. To install the new ones, just make sure the new clips are in the "out" position, snap the socket on to the ball and push in on the clip to secure it in place. Hope this helps.

Could be one of two things, HVAC needs to recalibrate itself or one of the blend doors (or its actuator) is stuck. To accomplish the recalibration, set all HVAC controls and switches to their OFF or CCW positions, pull fuses # 36 and 39 in the rear fuse panel, wait about a minute then reinstall fuses. Do not touch any of the HVAC controls for 2 -3 minutes. If this does not resolve the vent issue, you will need to have the HVAC diagnosed by a technician.
