Question about 2003 Ford Escape
The driver's side wiper has developed significant play/slop.
I have removed the cover and it appears as though the connection at the base of the wiper shaft to the driver arm has worn loose.
Without taking this apart I can't tell if this can be repaired or tightened or needs to be replaced. Can anyone tell me this?
Also, If the shaft and housing needs to be replaced, can you tell me if I can easily separate this from the stiffening bar and driver arm or does the whole assy. need to be replaced?
Your questions can be answered at your ford dealer for free,go to the parts dept and act like you know what your doing.Youjust dont do wipers everyday.Good Luck!
