Question about 2003 Chrysler Town & Country

Electrical problems on 2002 T+C

I am currently having problems with my town and country. I would have the switch for the right signal light on and my left signal would come on. Another problem I am having is my cruise control will be intermittent like I would turn it on and set the speed and the system will shut off and not turn back on, or when I go to turn the system on it would just shut off and not come back on. Along with the signal light problem my windshield washer system would come on for a second and then the wipers would follow and repeat the cycle until I restart the vehicle. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a bad body control module for most of your problems, and the brake switch for the cruise possibly.

SOURCE: windshield wipers dont work

Fuse # 5 in your panel should be a 20amp fuse, which provides power to wipers. Not 100% sure, but would bet there is a relay in that circuit before motor. Try to feel/hear, exactly where clicking is coming from. It is usually easy to simply narrow the click noise area down, then set finger lightly on relays, and feel it when it clicks. Pull it out & have tested or replace.

SOURCE: rear windshield wiper blade doesn't hit rear

the pivot pin must be rusted to the point it does not want to move, try lubing it with wd40 or equivalent lube,at the bottom of the wiper arm just before the bolt that holds it to the car is the pivot point.that's where it has to be lubed.

On the 1997 Chrysler Town & Country LX, 3.3Litre, the tail lights don't work. The break lights work, the turn signal works also. It's not the light bulb.

All three of your lights on the rear are ran separately. The tail lights are ran with headlight switch the brake lights off the break sensor the turn signals are ran from arm switch and then there are relays as well. Electrical issues are a real pain to track. However that's not abnormal have 2 of the 3 working when theres a bad relay or short in the wire

Town and counrty front right signal light flashing faster, rear light stop flashing

the signal indicator lights are suppose to flash in perticular time interval which is connected to a timer relay when the light flashes faster that means the other light is not working and the relay is getting double the current and moving faster so check the other light either the bulb is fuse or the current is not reaching up to the bulb
