It can damage the parts that keep the tires on our car if you don't get the CV axles replaced. You should take your car to a mechanic to replace the axles.
Lift and support front end on suitable jack stands preferably on frame. Remove right front cv axle, stub shaft, and seal. You will need to pull the right front brake caliper assembly loose and place to the side. Then remove bolts from shock and upper control arm and hub nut to do this. Next, remove axle lock actuator on passenger side of front axle. Place a drain pan underneath front diff cover and remove cover and drain axle. In the center of differential there will be an 8 mm head bolt holding spider gear cross-shaft. Remove bolt and cross-shaft only! Push inner axle in until clip clears inside of passenger spider gear. Set clip aside and push/pull axle shaft straight out to passenger side.
On the long cv axle you have a intermediate bearing..remove the clamp thats holding the bearing and spinn it and see if its bad..Should be the passenger side cv axle..The cv will check as good but the bearing can be bad
check your axles, for an open cv boot, this clicking is on straigth or turning, if turming to your rigth you hear noise to be louder on your left then your left axle is bad, do the same to your left and if noise exists then your rigth axle is bad.good luck
check tire first . not cv boot it just a cover for the axle - hold grease - dont let dirt in axle nuckles.under cv boot is the axle joint if boot is torn it lets grease out an dirt in an drys the joint out causing problems....
