How to change cigarette lighter

The casting should unscrew counter clockwise when looking at the lighter hold the green part of the tab and twist the outer metal piece once that is done slide the green piece into the lighter slot and take the outer shell and screw it back on, this is what holds it in place, next hook up the hot wire then the ground. Do it in that order so as not to short out the electrical system.

This is simple but I think you should let a mechanic do it,the lesson you need is not worth the money your trying to save.
