Question about 1987 Dodge Raider
87 dodge raider won't run now. Just happend.
Was it possibly clanking a little before your oil pressure dropped? The 2.6 has two balance shafts that run on a chain which also turns your oil pump. The balance shafts are notorious for breaking or dropping chains as a results of the guides that the run on getting worn. If the chain is off then your oil pump won't turn. On my 88 Raider, I installed a balance shaft elimination kit. You still have the chain but you are not turning two shafts (counter-weights basically)
