When you say "it's on", but the car is running great, are you referring to the check engine light? If the light is on, regardless of how the car is running, take it to an autoparts store and have them use a scan tool to retrieve any fault code(s) from the computer. Most parts stores offer this service free of charge. The code(s) will help identify any problem (or potential problem) that if addressed promptly could save time and money down the road. Sure hope this helps and best wishes.

1996 nissan maxima starts and runs great, a couple days later it wont' start, finally it will start, jumping battery does not help, but car runs great if and when it starts

I suggest that you take the starter motor to an accredited auto electrician as it indicates a dry joint problem in the armature bars
the fix is
the bars can be re-soldered
or My preference -- a new armature

Car will run great 3 times it just quit. I checked #1 coil wire no spark pluged it back in started right up and ran great. and several times after turning off key it would crank but not start, let it

Have it scanned looking for diagnostic codes. Sounds like you could have a crankshaft or camshaft sensor problem, which will be a simple fix.

I put my car up 4 the winter it was running great.... I pulled it out it was running great.... it rained real bad and a lot of moisture it would start for 3 months.... then it started back up running great...

Check spark plug wires and ignition parts, try using WD-40 type of moisture remover. Ignition coils tend to react to moisture if it gets inside.

Runs great, but stumbles(200/300 RPM)at idle

Thats usually a bad symptom. Burnt valve. Do you see white smoke when you first start the car in the morning? If so valve guides and and valves need work. I just went through it with my car. I removed the head and had it overhauled 2 hundred bucks. and now it runs great. Good luck P.S if you have a shop do it it will be 14 hundred.
