Question about Ford Mustang

1 Answer

My 09 Mustang will only climb upto 165 mph. I was told by my friends these Fords could easily do 185 mph and thats before the super charger kicks in. Another thing I could use a larger spoiler to hold the *** end down at these speeds, what do you recomend? Otherwise everything else runs fine with my 6 cylinder engine.

Have a 2000 gt mustang an changed the steering colum now it's in theft mode what can I do

Take the key Cylinder and sensor out of the old one and install it in the new one.

On a lot of the older fords you can simply leave the key in the ON position for 30-60 Minutes and it will relearn, put a battery charger on it on LOW if you attempt that to keep system voltages up.

I went and got two new tires for my chevy aveo and I gave them the tire size 185/60r14 and they came back and told me my rims were 15inches not 14inch so they put on 185/60r15. Now my back tires are...

Except for the 2004's, every year of Chevy Aveo can come in either 14- OR 15-inch rims, but they don't come in both.

They put on 185/60's instead of 185/55's.
This defines the profile height of the tire.
So yes, it is slightly "taller" (by about 9.25 mm).
Yes it is the wrong tire for that car.

It should have either: 1) 185/55-15 OR 2) 185/60-14.
(Note: Some people will up-size and put 185/60-15 all the way around, but that is the owner's choice; obviously not yours).

Do NOT allow them to mix the tires under any case.
It can cause handing problems and will not allow you to rotate the tires properly (though you only bought two).

Be a strong consumer and demand satisfaction.

I have 2002 Buick regal gs. I noticed a whining noise while driving. What could this be from, someone told me I may need to change super charger oil ? Please help .

this could be an alternator noise like the bearings.or it could be a bearing in the super charger.try changing the oil for the super charger and see if it helps especially if it hasn`t been changed.

This engine is fully electronically controlled, so you need the dealer to do a full diagnostic of the engine control system, it is the only way to get to the bottom of this. Make sure you can show the dealer exactly what is going on otherwise if they can't duplicate the concern and no fault codes are present they can't fix it.
