Question about 2007 BMW 525xi Sedan
You will need to get a service reset tool or find a place that has one (the dealer will charge).

I dont know. your local dealer will not only reset it for you.they will teach you how to do it yourself. They already know you will see them for such a fine automobile.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

i found this on a Corvette forum, so i could not test its validity but i hope it works for you:
-To reset the oil light, put the key in the ignition and turn to accessory setting (but do not start the car) Push the English/Metric button twice and then push and hold the "Range" button. The "Change Oil" light will flash for about 15-20 seconds and then go out. Release the button and turn key off. When you turn the key back on, the light should be out. If it is not, repeat the above steps.-
Hope this helps,

Press the "status" button until it shows the oil life message. Then press and hold the reset button until it resets to 100%
