If the "check engine" or "service engine soon" light is flashing, it could be the engine is miss firing. This could be caused by a bad spark plug wire or spark plug. How old are they? After changing the plugs on my 2001 Olds Alero (at 125k miles) I noticed the engine occasionally miss fired and the "service engine soon" light started blinking. I used a timing light to determine which cylinder was miss firing and changed that spark plug wire. Advise would be to change the whole ignition wire set, but I was cheap and just changed the one wire, which cost $23 from a GM dealer. That was 14 months ago and the car runs great.

P0105 - MAP Sensor Circuit Insufficient Activity. If it is the 3.4 or 3.1L engine The Map sensor is located towards the back of the engine by the coil packs.Would verify that it is plugged in and also that the vaccum line going to it is not cracked,If all this checks ok then map sensor may need replaced.

Reset it why?
You do not care that your car needs to
be checked for codes, diagnosed & repaired,
because you have an OBD2 System Malfunction
Guess you haven't been around since 1980 when
these systems came out ,30 years ago
No owners manual either?

It is very possible that he did not need to remove the wheel to check it out. Many times if you use the scan tool to check for codes that are stored in the computer, to find out why the light came on, the computer will tell you basically what the problem it. And a bad wheel bearing can cause the Anti Lock and Traction Lights to come on, because when they go bad, that causes the wheel speed sensor to become defective and the sensor in turn will set the light and make it come on. The Engine light comes on because the others came on. So, chances are pretty good that he is correct and did not feel the need to remove the wheel to inspect the bearing.

Hope this helps.
