Same problem on my 04 Silverado, then it stopped ejecting them. I had to replace the stereo.

Well, the problem is that I dont know the reason, you should investigate. There could be issues with lamps (must get new) or electricity problems (must head to auto-service)

I'm sure how to turn heated seats on in my 2002 gmc envoy.... do i even have heated seats.

Hi Mia,

If your vehicle is equipped with heated seats, there will be switches on the door panels. The "snippet" below is from page 1-3 in the Owner's Manual.

If you do not have an Owners's Manual you can download a FREE PDF version by clicking the link that follows. (direct link)

Cd not ajection

Welcome to the world of gm delco radios. I am a used car dealer in Canada and I deal mostly in trucks and suv's. Honestly I'd say 75% of the radios in Gm's don't work properly, the loading mechanism gets jammed when you try to eject and "check CD" appears. Unfortunately it's not the CD, and to save yourself any further heartbreak, rip the player out and get yourself a good quality Kenwood or the likes.

Envoy 2004 cd player

I had same problem with a 2005 Envoy in Jan '09. I took it to the ex-GM dealer. He said he'd try. The unit would only play using radio.
Mechanic took unit out of dash, and top off of unit. Ejected CD bu moving the eject mechanism. Replaced top and unit.
Works and plays cds. Cost $25.00 And i tipped the mechanic $10.00 for his knowledge.
