ECAS fuse 1 30amp location - under hood fuse box. Is the vehicle 4WD ? 4WD fuse 48 15 amp . - location rear fuse box . Does the air inflator switch flash quickly ? Do you know what code's are ?
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Displaying
The Air Suspension system has an internal clock to prevent overheating if the compressor assembly is running for a prolonged period of time. If the system overheats, all leveling function stops until the system cools down. During this time, the indicator LED on the air inflator switch will be quickly flashing at a constant rate.
The other three diagnostic trouble codes are displayed with a blink code on the inflator switch LED. The Air Suspension Compressor Assembly shall begin to indicate the code when the condition to cause the code becomes current.
The number of the fault code shall be represented by the number of flashing pulses on the inflator switch LED. The flashing pulses shall have a repetition rate of 0.5 seconds and each code shall be separated by a 3.0 second delay. All codes shall be flashed in the order of occurrence of the fault. The blink code shall take priority over other processes that have access to the inflator switch LED. Refer to the following:
• DTC 001
• DTC 002
• DTC 003
DTC 001 System Disabled Information Stored
The air suspension compressor assembly monitors the calibrations in the electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM). The module also monitors the compressor, solenoids and internal wiring for faults.
Air actuators (air chambers) on each corner of the vehicle, a compressor to inflate the actuators, ride height sensors and a control ecu to control the function. That's a basic overview, hope it helps
air compressors do not operate below 28 degrees you have to get them warm first I assume that your compressor is under your hood as long as you allow your truck to get cold or keep the air suspension your going to have this problem
With out seeing the vehicle, it is difficult to say. There are fuses that control the small compressor that inflates the bags, the wiring could be faulty. the compressor could be bad. The control switch could be bad, I am not sure what activates the compressor on that model, weather it is automatic load leveling or manual leveling with a switch inside the car. It might pay to get a manual such as haines for your perticular model. Sorry I couldnt be more helpful, but electricly controled systems like this are hard to trouble shoot without seeing them.
You have a short in the wiring running between the fuse box and the compressor. If you can follow the wires you should notice that one is worn/broken. You may get lucky and the short is located at the end of the wire (either at the fuse box or at the compressor).
It may also be that the compressor is low on refrigerant, was the AC blowing very cold air before you had the problem, or was the air slowly getting warmer and warmer.
I would check the wiring first, make sure you disconnect the negative battery terminal before you mess with any wiring.
Anything a/c related is best left to a mechanic. You prob have a freon leak somewhere. Try adding a can or 2 to see if that works.
As far as the other lights, they prob just need their recommended servicing.
The compressor will only inflate once or twice and only within a half hour of the ignition being turned off. If the bags deflate over night there is a leak in the bag and will probably need to be replaced. If you get under the car and take a look at them you will likely see deep cracks in them, specifically around where they fold.
