I had the same issue on my '86 Bronco. Change the ECM(computer) and your problem will go away.

ther are two pieces one inside the distributor and the piece bolted to the outside you need to replace both parts the distributor has to come out to get the inside part you need a press to get it apart and back together ive tried the outside part a couple of times and got lucky one time

1990 ford bronco with fuel injected 302 idles and revs fine out of gear but has loss of power and pings when in gear and accelerating...

First thing to try would be different fuel. Use a fuel stabilizer and fill with good gas. see if that helps. Also, check the fuel pressure.

1987 FORD FULL SIZE BRONCO FUEL PROBLEM, SHUTS DOWN

The only way air can get in the fuel line is if you have a hole in it! Problem of course is were? I would run the fuel line from back to front and back again. Look for any wet spot that you can find. You may even have to drop the tank to ba able to look on top. I would suspect the problem is in the line before the high preasure pump, being as you are pulling air into the system. I have seen leaky lines allow air in, but not let fuel out.

Bronco Wont Start (help please)

Check for timing gear problems. They have plastic teeth on the cam shaft gear which will shatter causing it to jump time.
