Most likely tires out of balance. Most tire shops will fix for a few dollars a tire.

My 2002 Honda Odyssey has a shutter/vibration intermittenly in the front end. When it occurs speed is approx between 20-30 mph. Tires have been balanced and rotated but that did not make a difference. ...

Your shuuder sounds like it m,ight be coming from a CV joint losing it's grease or going out of balance. Take it to a front end shop for diagnosis. It's free.

Front end vibrates at high speeds Some vibration at low speeds too

Hi there,

When front-end vibration is more apparant at higher speeds, this usually indicates your front wheels are badly out of balance. This can occur if you regularly drive on unsealed roads, or the wheels have hit the curbside etc.

Have your local tire fitter balance your wheels for you - this involves clipping tiny weights to your wheels, to keep the wheel centred during rotation.

Cheers,

Scott

Strong front end vibrations when at speeds of 35 - 55 mph. I tried removing the front end 4wd shaft and it made no difference. Any suggestions?

check for deformed tyres is the first choice here i think jack each wheel up and spin it and have a good look for any out of roundness

I have a vibration problem in my ford Expedition 2007 car , it starts vibrating when the speed exceeds 120 km/hr .I tried to take it to different shops to fix it without success. I replaced the tyres...

You obviously have a suspention problem that needs to be found. If it's a 4wd, the u-bolts to the front end can get loosened and cause the front to shake. the bushings that set the front end in alignment can also be wearing and not be holding the way they should. I'd take it either to a good suspention shop or the dealer and let them look at it.

I have a vibration or shimmy in the front end.

If the wires were not pulled carefully, they may be damaged. The plugs were gapped and kept clean while installing? (No grime etc.) Could the wires get switched so the wrong wire is on the wrong plug? If the same problem got worse, you may be right about engine vibration.

What could cause vibration in the right front end of car?

it all depends on the speed and what u are doing at the time the vibration occurrs, if during braking you have warped brake rotors, if at higher speeds tire balance, at low speeds front end wear. Any tire shop will road test and give u an idea of the cost to repair in most cases free of charge.

Vibration in steering column

if your vibration comes and goes with different speeds, most likely problem is balance in tires/wheels. a bent wheel often vibrates more with higher speeds. if the vibration is stong in the steering wheel, the problem is normally in the front end, if you feel in more in the seat or body of the car then look to the rear end.
