Question about 2000 Nissan Xterra

1 Answer

My 2000 xterra will not turn over acts like it is not getting fue

The car was fine and suddenly would not turn over. It is acting like it is not getting fuel. I changed the fuel pump and fuel filter. I replaced the relay and checked the fuses they are fine.
I am getting power to the fuel pump but I cannot hear it running and the car will still not turn over. Do you have any ideas?

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

run the fault codes and check for cam/crank position sensor, immobiliser operation. Check that the cam is turning (broken timing belt/chain)

The engine is acting like if is not getting enough fuel when the rpms get over 2000. Is it the fuel filter or something else?

depends does it bog down when you rev it up or what does it do. it could be the catalytic convertor clogged up or it could be the fuel filter or the fuel pump strainer causing the problem.
