Power windows not working on 2005 caravan - 2005 Dodge Caravan

Dodge Grand Caravan No Power Window No Power Locks CAN Trouble

Could be window switch or motor. Try to find diagnostic steps to isolate

need to know more information about which windows don't work and from which location that they don't work from

Pulling the door panel off an checking for B+ voltage to the motor is what you should do. Use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter . Before assuming an replacing part's . No relay involved !

Enter vehicle info. year ,make , model an engine size . Under system click on body & accessories ,then under subsystem click power window's . Click the search button then the second blue link. Lights dim when pushing the window switch ? Bet it's the motor . or the regulator . Do you know what the regulator is ? .

if its just one window thats not working then more than likely its the motor. but try operating the window from the switch that operates that window (i e)left rear window left window switch if it works from the window switch then its the master switch thats bad but if it dosent work then its the motor more than likely.

Sounds like you need a new regulator, and lube the window tracks. If you are not familiar with how a window regulator works, get someone who is to do the repair.

most caravan fuses are under the dash on the drivers side.......

the window motor is finished in it and you'll need to change it

As long as the windows will work fine some of the time, it sounds like the problem is in the power supply and replacing the fuse should fix it, otherwise there may be a loose wire somewhere in the circuitry.
