The adjustment for the steering wheel is not working on my 2000 millenia. If I press the adjustment button, you can hear a electrical sound that clicks, but no movement takes place. I verified all the fuses that are related to the column, and all are fine. I want to know if there is a motor that makes this equipment work that may need to be replaced, or if there is anything else that I can verify?

Make sure that the axle you put in has a trigger wheel and that it's not damaged. Also make sure you didn't damage the sensor there and that it's clean. Generally they are non adjustable but if yours is, make sure the clearance between the trigger wheel and the sensor is correct (don't have spec for you but generally they will work when set within an eighth inch of the wheel...check opposite side if you need to) If that fails to work, have the abs system scanned and see what comes up as a fault.
The flashing light and rough engine means a spark plug(s) misfire. I've had that issue before. The steering could be a few things. The ball joint or wheel bearing might be broken or the axle could be broken. I replaced my wheel bearing (pot hole) and the steering was fine. However, I also had to replace my steering rack prior to that incident.
Most often, the stuck steering wheel is a result of a faulty 'tilt relay switch.' If you attempt to use the tilt switch and you can hear a clicking/whirring noise, then its your relay switch, if not, it may be the motor that is broken.
its the tilt thing, you have to have it replaced for $200, or go to a mechanic and have him adjust it the level you want and let him deactivate the tilt from electricity. Best thing I ended up with my millenia :)
