Question about 2000 Toyota Sienna
I just want to change my belt that is runs my A/C on my 2000 Sienna; I know its on 2 other wheels but I don't know where to loosen in order to change.
One of those "wheels" or TENSIONER PULLYS on your vehicle is the tensioner for the a/c compressor. You will need to look at it and see if there is an adjustment bolt behind pully. If there is, loosen center pully nut, then run adjustment bolt out to slack out the belt. Replace belt and reverse prosedure. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN BELT,as you can damage pullys and or belt. Tighten to factory specs. Rule of thumb is pulling the belt out and check for slack. No more/less than one inch slack.
