I need to know exactly where to find the seat relay among the 10 or so relays I see under the dash. Is someone familiar with this car available to answer?

  • olde4tyme Jul 23, 2009

I cant read any of the small print in your response picture of the fuse-relay diagram so it doesent help. Could you point which relay/fuse if any to suspect in the picture for better identification ?

Check the fuse box under the hood, but most likely you have a shorted seat motor or the wiring to it..

Most relay are the same colors. Many also provide the same resistance. Therefore, a hayes repair manual may be necessayry.

You can always test each one with an ohmmeter or multi-tester to see which ones give a reading

I don't have electricity for seat, windows, no on dash board Toyota sequoya 2002

There is a connection under the seat for the power seats. I would pull that apart and see if you have voltage there. If you do then your problem is to the switch or the switch itself.

The power for the front passenger seat is not working

Check connections under the seat if they are connected it is a problem within the wiring or a fuse refer to the user manual for fuse locations

Not getting gas to engine. Where do I find the fuel pump FUSE and/or RELAY??

Generally a FPR failure won't cause a non-start. Both your Fuel pump fuse and relay are under the package shelf, behind the front seats on the right hand side. The shelf has three screws that are kinda hard to see and some Velcro holding it down. Also thick your inertial switch. The white button should be up.

Car wont start

I think you have a bad fuseable link. Also,
I suspect your alternator is not charging your battery.

You have power with the new one, and it ran for the 20 minutes on your old battery. There also may be a
starter relay unit under the hood.

2000 Blazer. No power to the orange wire for either front seat. Which fuse or relay controls the frt power seats? Its not listed on the fuse box covers and I do not have an owners manual.

The orange wire is the power wire for both seats. It gets its power from the power seat circuit braker (20 amp) located at the body relay block. It is located behind left side of dash near fuse block. Remove circuit braker and check for power in body relay cavity that you pulled the relay out of if power is on one side change circuit braker and if no power on either side then you have a bad main fuse near battery or under hood in main fuse block.
