To pull motor, you need to pull all the bolts off of the trany housing, and then bolts on the transmission ring gear.

Need to replace wiper motor assembly on a 1999 s-type jaguar - have removed all holding bolts but can't remove it from the engine compartment - do I need to remove other components first?

you will need to remove the wiper motor from the wiper mechanism and undo the exspansion tank holding bracket and move aside , it will be a bit of a wiggle to get out but is possable ,jaguar recommend to remove the strut brace to give more room , this is true but the bolts have a habit of snapping so i would soak the bolt heads with some penetrating oil and leave over night for it to hopefully get down the bolt , then undo bolts by undo a small way then retighten and so on until loose ,if becomes impossable to turn without using excessive force i would stop, tighten the bolts up and go for the wiggling option as you do not want snapped bolts , hope this helps

Cant find the computer in my 1999 Mitsubishi Galant with a 2.4 engine

Should be behind the glove box, either near the console or the blower motor. You may have to remove the console or the blower motor to access.

99 Mitsubishi Galant, engine is over heating. Where is thermostat located?

I have a 4 cyl engine in my galant and the thermostat is found by following the LOWER radiator hose. You will need to remove the battery in order to gain access to the thermostat housing mounting bolts. There is a video on showing the removal and replacement of the thermostat and radiator for a 1999 mitsubishi galant.

Detroit diesel injector installation

thoroughly clean area around injectors, and then blow with compressed air so no bits will fall in the holes when injectors removed.loosen main injector pipe nut, remove return fuel line, dont lose copper washers, put special fuel bolts back in top of injector firm[by hand] undo holding down bolts evenly, undo fully injector pipe nut,.gently pry injector loose, and remove, making sure sealing washer at bottom also comes out..while I dont specifically know this particular engine, this guide applies to most diesel motors.I have rebuilt a 6v72 detroit motor, yrs ago.Assembly is reversal.may need to crank over to bleed diesel at injector, always use new sealing washers.

How do you remove a starter from a 1990 acura integra ls manual transmission.

This is a little tricky but you can do it without really taking anything off the engine.

The starter motor sits on the left hand side of the, underneath the engine block.

When you open your bonnet you will see the clutch cable etc stickign up and then a bit oif space behind that.

If you look into that space, hanging of the engine will be the starter motor.

The stater motor is connected by two bolts (top and bottom), you will need a good socket set and an extendable socket piece to get to the bolts but you can feel around find them.

1. Undo negative terminal to the battery
2. Undo the ground wire from the starter. (It will have a little rubber cap on it - it a 10 mil bolt in Australian Imports)
3. Undo the bottom bolt first (otherwise the top one is a little tricky to get out
4. Undo the top bolt.
5. Pull the starter out (to the left) - you will need to wiggle it aorund a little but it will come out without having to take of anything else)
Installation is the reverse.

When i first did this it took me about 30 mins....

I need to know if the 4G63 in my 2005 Mistubishi EVO VIII is a 6 bolt motor or a 7 bolt motor

if it is the original motor, it will be a 7 bolt. 6 bolts are from the earlier motors (like 89-94). you can check the oil pan to be sure.
