DID YOU CHECK FOR VDC AT THAT FUSE
I have never heard of that. How do I check it?
VOLTS DC. GET A MULTI METER. IS THERE 12 VOLTS DC
Ok yeah I checked voltage. That fuse showed cold. I isolated it back up to the switch, and I'm pretty sure that's where it is. Thanks for the help!
THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE I WAS GOING TO TELL YOU WHEN YOU REPLIED THE THE SWITCH IS A COMMON FAULT
I started messing with it and it all came back on. Turned them off then back on and out again... same thing messed with it and came back on, so I'm certain that it's the switch now. Thanks for the help on that! One more question though. Now the dome light won't go off. is that apart of the switch? Or is this all leaning toward a loose or faulty wire behind the switch?
CHANGE THE SWITCH SEE WHAT HAPPENS ALSO DOES IT SHUT OFF WHEN YOU CLOSE THE DOOR
BE SURE TO WRITE A TESTIMONIAL AND MARK AS HELPFUL THANKS

SOURCE: No rear brake light / turn signals on 2001 Chevy Cavalier
The problem is the turn signal/headlight/hazard switch assembly on the steering column which the brake light wiring runs through. The part is easy to change and cost about $50 at most parts stores
SOURCE: Tail lights don't work on 1998 Chevy Silverado.
check the wiring from the tailights back to the fuse panel, it sounds like an open connection. if i recall correctly check under the dash on the drivers side near the fuse panel for a bunch of wires in a bundle and look carefully for a wire or two that are cut/shorted/or seperated, you can also check under the drivers side kick panel by the hood release.

check tailight and instr light fuse with a test light rather than visably
SOURCE: 99 Chevy Tahoe... Rear turn signals, brake lights, and hazards
I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!
