I was told to flush machine monthly. How do I do that

There are two main causes for sludge, not changing the oil and filter at regular times, and not running the engine long enough to get it hot.
You might want to get a second opinion from a shop other than the dealer. The dealer may have a sales promotion on engine flushes this month.

what is the make and model?. do you have a mazda? if you have a mazda and you put in dex cool and it is only in the over flow then just drain the over flow. if it is in the radiator just drain it. sounds like it is only in the over flow . just unhook the hose from the over flow and let it drain out

brake fluid RARELY needs flushed. i personally have never done it to any vehicle. sticking caliper sounds more like an issue than fluid or yes it could be the hub bearing causing excessive drag on that wheel

Shifter in my 99 Honda goes from D4 to D3 without pushing button also. I 'NEVER' recommend flushing transmissions, it will always cause problems. I've been rebuilding transmissions for 25 years now, flushing causes all the buit-up contaminates to stop up the filter, which cannor be changed on Hondas. I have to admit though I get 'ALOT' of work since the introduction of flushing machines. Good luck.

the system may be clogged up somewhere, flush out system good. then put anti-freeze back in and then change the coolant temperature sensor, also change the thermastat. good-luck!!

There may be a corrosive in the system. Flushing the system should be done at least every 2 years. Your vehicle is now 12 years old, but I have not seen a heater core go bad in 10 months, it may have been defective, and should have some type of warranty.

Flush/replacde means the same thing. I have never known or been told of a difference between the two.

from what you are discribing the chances are your tappets at the top of your engine are tapping i will advice you tou get them changed the longer you leave them you will get more problems with your engine

seeming like you may have internal engine problem related to the lifters or your oil pump is not working properly. check that
