How do I remove the spark plugs from a 1996 Toyota Celica GT2200

Ok if its got the 3sgte engine with the water to air intercooler (earlier version had air to air intercooler and is much the same but no liquid is involved!)
1)Drain intercooler coolant
2)remove intercooler (3 bolts), disconnect the intercooler from the turbo, and intake air connector and remove the intercooler and air hose
3)remove the cool air inlet (2 bolts)
by now you should be able to see the spark plug leads, and is straight forward. The above procedure isn't as bad as it sounds, so dont be scared!
cheers

92 gt4 celica seems thers pressure pushin oil out the breather at the top of engine and its goin in2 the air intake bhind airflow meter and ruing thru turbo and dripin out b.o.v and going in2 intake...

This problem is called blow-by.. There could be a few different things that have caused it but the cure is the same... New piston rings are needed..
Probably pay to rebuild or replace the whole engine.

Head gasket gone

Yes. It's a real pain in the ***. You're going to have to remove the intercooler from the top of the engine. Just be glad it's an air-to-air intercooler, not an air-to-water "charge cooler" like mine. Once it's off (pour some gas in it and swill it around to give it a bit of a clean), you can start getting the bolts out to get the head off. Take the spark plugs out first. I don't *think* you need to remove the inlet manifold on this car.

For further help & advice go to gt4oc.net. You don't have to pay for a subscription, there's plenty of resources and if you post nicely in the free area someone is bound to lend a hand. If you're going to be doing a lot of self maintenance on your GT4, it's probably worth the $$ for membership!
