Question about 1992 Oldsmobile Achieva

1 Answer

I've got a 1992 Oldesmobile Achieva, with the 2.3 SOHC. The beast has a strange problem: the left turn signal works, but the right does not. At first I thought that this was just a burned out light, so I replaced all the right side lights one by one, and no dice. I switched the left side and right side bulbs, but the left side still worked and the right side still did not. So I began checking continuity on what wires I could, and still nothing. Furthermore, this also affects the right front parking light. Any advice on where I might find the annoying little gremlin behind this issue?

My turn signals stopped working suddenly on my 1992 ford probe lx. Prior right side was blinking faster. Changed signal switch next to steering column changed turn sinal/hazzard flasher by the clutch...

If this is not working on the right side and is OK on the left side then one of the indicator lamps on the right side has blown out. The reduced load on the right hand indicators causes the flasher can to flash faster.
Try turning on the hazard switch then walk around your car to see which lamp has blown out.

My heatting systom doesn't work

Chances are it's the blower motor resistor.  When that goes bad, the blower won't work, except on maybe high speed.  It's generally located right near the blower motor, which is probably under the dash board on the passenger side.

Turn Signal Flasher

What do you mean? Its the same as most cars. The left hand bar on the steering wheel. If u mean the signal lights on your dash, there should be one left of your speedometer for left signal and one on right of it for right signal unless yours aren't working for some reason.
