Question about 1992 Buick LeSabre
Unplug torque converter clutch it is on front side of trans usually square the vehicle does not need this to operate and it will stop stahling

Cookieeye, are you kidding? There's no way you could possibly know if the problem is the torque converter clutch without more information. The symptom described could be almost anything. We need more information.
Watsontm, it's easy to read the trouble codes with nothing more than a paper clip. The chilton manual (about $15) can tell you how to do this. If you can't spring that, go to autozone and ask them to read the codes for you. They should do it for free.
