Truck runs then it will die, Code po420 Comes up

If that happens and your on the high way or on the road have a extra battery and the jump starter in your car that way when your car dies on the road you will have the jump stater plugged in the extra battery in your car. Now your probably asking why do i need a battery and a jump starter in your trunk, well if your car dies there is a most likely chance that people will stop and help. Another reason why is if your. Car dies you can plug the jump starter to your car and the other end to the extra battery and try to turn on your car and that should work

This sounds like an alternator problem and most likely a defective battery, have them tested by Kragen auto it's free.
