Question about 2001 Subaru Legacy
Replaced the transmission in a 2001 Subaru Legacy and now the Check Engine Light is on and the car will not shift out of second gear. Scan tool says the code is Pressure Control Solenoid malfunction. I obtained a wiring diagram from the dealership and trouble tree but everything check out fine.
The modulator is what tells the trani when to shift.. That is controled by vacuum presure.. Maybe check all the vacuum lines that lead from the trani.. Or It could be the mudulator or something else.. I belive there are some trani shops that offer free estimates..
