Question about 2007 Acura TL Sedan New Cars
I have my Acura since Nov 2008. In early Jan 2009 I gave it to Acura dealer for a service and car had 32k miles. They did alignment as one of many things on my car that day also tire rotation. Since than when car had 40k miles in April had my tires rotated. Now, my friend told me that my tires do not wear evenly and I need alignment. Car has 49k miles. Please, tell me if this can happent that I will need another alignment on my car since one was done just 6 months ago.

Hi. First, with larger, front wheel drive cars, you should be rotating at no more than 6000 miles, regardless of what anyone tells you. My experience with Acura is that they "hold" alignments very well. Any abnormal tire wear you have at this point is likely caused by lack of regular rotations, not alignment. My advice is run the current set of tires and when you're ready to replace them, have the alignment checked with the new tires. Hope this helped!

It depends on what kind of uneven wear you are talking about if the front is wearing on the inside or outside on one side or both yes you need an alignment but if front tires are are worn about the same on the inside and outside of the tire that is not uncommon it is better to rotate the tires about every 5,000-7,000 and keep the air close to maximum as they will get you better gas mileage and wear better example if the tire says a maximum of 44psi put about 38-40psi when tires are cold and havent been ran.If those are the original tires and you have 49,000 on your car then you don't need an alignment.

Yes..possible. Potholes(in fla?), curb shots, rough riding. Also, if tires had previous, unnoticed wear pattern the alignment will not make the tires even.
