The ticking would be a bad valve lifter, bent or broken push rod
As far as the knocking, could be:
cam bearing, or cam
crank bearing
rod bearing
Might even be the knock sensor.

Can lifters be replaced

Oh yea, lifters can be replaced , best if you replace cam an lifters together ! Loud knocking is not usually associated with lifters , they usually make a ticking noise ! Knocking noise is most usually in the bottom of the motor , main or rod bearings . most of the time rod bearings !

I notice my oil was low, cause it was running a little rough. So I put a quart in. Then it was running better. Then I drove it the next day and it started making a ticking noise and now it is getting...

the ticking , if you hear it on the top of the motor, will be a rocker arm,, it could be plugged and not getting oil, if its coming from lower down in the motor, it is possibly a stuck valve,, or a rod bearing , if its a ticking noise its more than likely the rocker assembly,, if its more of a knocking noise its lower in the motor

Car running rought when u press the throtle there is a nocking noise i think this is the nock senser if i take the ht leads off the spark plugs 1 at a time starting from left they all make a nocking noise...

If you're getting ticking-type knock, I'd first look to the lifters. if it's a real hard knocking, it could be your main bearings on the lower end

My car started ticking should i replace the rod bearings?

Not neccessarily. Have it diagnosed first. The ticking could be many different things. Bearings are one, lifters another or could be not internal engine, may be external. You also need to find out why its doing what it doing otherwise you will waste money fixing something and end up doing it again..

I drove through some high water and flooded my engine. Trying to let the car dry out and be able to get it running without taking it to a shop. Any suggestions on what to do?

Depending on how much water you got into the engine you could have irreversible internal component damage. I would start by removing all of the spark plugs and then try to crank the motor. If you are hearing knocking noises at this point it is barely worth putting the spark plugs back in the motor as it is blown. If you hear no knocking while clearing the water out of the cylinders reinstall the spark plugs and try to start it momentarily (DO NOT LET IT STAY RUNNING). If you still have no engine noise I would proceed to a oil change. At any point if it is knocking or refusing to turn over normally with the plugs out you can count on a bent connecting rod or bent crankshaft. Hope this was of help to you.
