All depends on how much the repair shops charge an hour.
The 02 sensor is just screwed into the exhaust pipe
and the cam sensor is just bolted on to the engine.
If that cam sensor is behind the timing belt cover it would take more time to replace it.

Well code 133 is a oxygen sensor fault....new one runs around 60-100 dollars.

The 341 code I have no info on...most likely related to the O2 sensor.

Good Luck

Disable my security it iprevening me form startin the car

This is a pretty common problem on GM cars. Expensive to fix, and even harder to diagnose. Read this info found on this link. It will help you understand the problem and offers some good solutions to beat this yourself. Bypassing this terrible system is a lot better than trying to have it fixed. Instead of paying the dealer mechanic to stumble thru the system and charge you for unwanted items, do this yourself.

I have a saturn sl2 with a 5 speed transmission. i was driving and heard a ping and now 2nd 4th and reverse are gone but i still have 1st 3rd and 5th. i have no idea where to start fixing the problem

If you have inspected the shift linkage and found no missing or loose parts, then unfortunately an internal shift mode fork, syncro assembly, shift rail or possibly a snap ring has been damaged. This is not an easy fix on any vehicle and will require transmission removal to diagnose. Before the trans is removed, inspect the shift linkage while someone moves the gear selector to all gears. This would be the best case scenario, internal damage, of course, would be the worst.

RMPs won't drop on 97 SL2

on the s series it was very common for carbon to build up inside the idle air control valve-IAC valve.there are too expensive and are easy to fix-buy the part so you know what is looks like the look at your throttle body(follow your air filter box tube to the top of the engine-the throttle body)the iac is right there.

Fuse is the cheapest solution, I'd start there. Then perhaps light bulbs and/or relays.

I have a 97 SL2. Muffler "liner" falled?

You may be looking at the heat shield above the exhaust pipe. For the most part this is not an expensive fix unless you live in the socalled "saltbelt" where the salt from the snow removal eats away the mounting points on the shield.

1997 saturn sl2 dohc is there a timing belt or chain on it

These engines have a timing chain, not a belt. They also have nylon coated guides under the cover that wear. If you change the chain yourself, or have it done, check the guides as well.

Check engine light

Go to an auto parts store that has a reader and get the fault code. Put the fault code here and let some folks help. You REALLY need a "Chilton" brand manual, as it is the most complete with fault codes explained and thereby assist with the least expensive fix.
