2003 mitsubishi galant 2.4 engie it runs fine until i floor the accelerator then it hesitates and takes off is this a symptom of a bad fuel pump?

No, but it sounds like you need a good tune-up. If you can't do it yourself, take it to a good mechanic/repair facility.

2003 Mitsubishi gallant 2.4l at first noticed when starting the car it would rev up and then had to pump the gas to get it going then after that it would start fine and then rev up and die every time

This could have a few different things going on. It could be a weak fuel pump, but more than likely it's either your AIC, Your crank sensor or a cam sensor, it could also be your EGR valve, all of these things work in conjunction with one another to keep the engine running as it's suppose to. The first thing that you really need to do it to get to an autozone or some other similar parts store and have them hook up the code reader, Once you know what codes your ECU is throwing then you'll have a better idea where to start at for the repairs.

I changed the 02 Sensors on my 03 Mitsubishi Galant do I need to reset anything on my car? It turns on fine but idles low when put in gear and shuts off.

Its a hot start issue.

Can be related to low fuel pressure or problem with crank sensor.

Also it can be weak battery or starter.

But possibilities are to be inspected to confirm what exactly it is.------

My 2003 Mitsubishi Galant (V6) started to hesitate and die. It starts back up fine and will die again when I let off the gas or stop. It will run fine for a couple of months (and a few tanks of gas) and...

It is your idle air control (IAC) motor. Its located on the bottom of the throttlebody. All you need to do to change it out is remove the air intake hose from the throttlebody, unplug the connector and remove 3 screws. But the part isn't cheap. I would suggest finding on online because at a local parts store it will be around $250

1995 galant died the other day wasn't getting any fuel replaced the fuel pump the works but car still wont start

You need three things to run: spark, fuel, compression (timing). Check for spark simple, check for fuel (crank over engine and pull spark plugs, is fuel on them? ) if not rent noid lights from Autozone or such to check upon injector pulse. If nothing let me know and we'll look further in to it.

Best regards,

if you have no spark then its a crank sensor issue or ignition module.
What you could of done was sprayed some brake cleaner in the throttle. If it still did not start then you would of know the problem was not the pump. This is a trick we use to figure out if its a fuel issue or spark issue.

2003 galant wont start

Your timing belt might have busted. Mine did that in November of 2007.... I had to replace 2 of the 4 cylinders, along with the timing belt and housing. Total cost was a little over $1700.00
