If it is anything like my 93, there is a small role pin at the bottom holding the line on. Get a thin nail or punch and just tap the pin out, be careful not to loose it, cause you need to reuse it.

yes you need to bleed the line.

  • Anonymous Jul 22, 2009

The slave valve where the other end of the pipe connects to, has the same set up a role pin.

  • Anonymous Jul 24, 2009

There should be a bleeder screw on the slave valve

I just purchased a 2007 B4000 5 speed stick and I can feel a constant vibration (not a rhythmic one) through the shifter, gas pedal (I can feel it constantly through the sole of my shoe), and clutch pedal,...

could be a broken engine / trans mount unfortunately a common finding nowadays
if your familiar with tools use a large wrench on a large bolt located someplace on front of SHUT off engine gently but with force attempt to move engine North/east/south/west if it moves any direction more than 1/4 inch in respect to car body (not ground) yep you got a broken one

ooh also ck clutch master cyl fluid level (not brake master cyl) for correct level if low u got a leaky slave cyl

5 speed Jeep Liberty clutch barely engages when vehicle first start.

If your clutch is hydraulic uses a master cyl. and a slave cyl. It sounds like the slave cyl. but could be both.

No clutch pressure on a hydraulic clutch system borg warner transmission 4 cyl. 5 speed

look for leak....under the dash on the floor if its wet there its the master. Just follow rod from clutch peddle to master. Check the line and not sure if your slave is on the outside of the trans look there or if its in the trans see if its wet coming out of the bell housing (where trans meets engine) and replace that part and bleed system

Press clutch down truck still moves foward on a 98 isuzu hombre

If you've not done anything to your truck, check the Clutch master cylinder under the hood, there is a resivoir that should have brake fluid in it. It usually sits next to the Brake master cylinder & is a smaller unit. If nothing has been done to the system recently, and your fluid is full, either the Clutch Master Cyl. or the Clutch Slave Cy. mounted on the bellhousing of the trans. is defective, or has a leaking connection.

If leaking connection, tighten & bleed the system. Check under the clutch pedal on the floorboard for brake fluid, if you find it, the Clutch Master Cyl is the problem & will need ot be replaced. Otherwise, the Clutch Slave Cyl. will need to be replaced. System has to be bled after replacing either & the Clutch Master Cyl. must be bled before hooking up the lines to the Clutch Slave Cyl.

Good Luck

good luck.
