My suggestion if you want pictures and some good info on your vehicle would be to log on to Autozone.com. There you can enter your vehicle Make, year and model and then go to there repair vehicle section and you should be able to find what your looking for. I use it all the time.

Power steering line replacement?

First drain the oil from the supply tank . A good time to inspect and clean out any dirt. Next clean around the fittings of the line you are removing ,we don't want any dirt to enter the system. Then remove the line, it will be held in place by clips that have to be undone be sure to fit them to the new line. If there is a inline oil filter replace it now. Fill the supply tank with new power steering oil to the full mark . jack the front up till the wheels are off the ground, fit safety jacks. Start engine ,turn steering from lock to lock to bleed out air and top up supply tank.

Steering box leak

Hi,try putting a stop leak additive in the power-steering-pump reservare to stop the leak, and the screeching could be comeing from the belt that runs the power-steering-pump-pully.(It sounds like it might be slipping so will need adjusted).
Hope this was some help.

Power steering lines need to be replaved. How? 90 GMC Sierra 1500

I'm not sure what engine you have in your truck but the chevy's are pretty staight forward in design. Out of the two hoses that you have one is a pressure line and the other is the return. Mostly on the Chevs the pressure is the one that will give you a problem. The one that you can see and is easily accessible is most likely the return line and is a hose on a barbed fitting with a hose clamp. The other is the pressure and as the name suggests the hose clamp will not hold this one so yes it has a fitting that screws into the back of the power steering resevoir. Sometimes you can get to the resevoir from underneath but most likely you will have to remove the power steering pump to get at the hose to reattach the new one. usually not as easy as it sounds as you will have to remove the pulley (press fit) with a power steering pulley remover/installer to access one of the mounting bolts behind it. Hope this helps.

What is the name of the part is it a sensor or relay that is on the power steering line at the bottom.

It's calld the power steering sensor, it transfers info back and forth to the ecm as fluid pressures increase and decrease, also works in relation to vehicle speeds and rpms.
