I got a 2010 Honda Odyssey radio is locked up and giving me a code e I have the code to reset

To reset the anti-theft system on a Honda Odyssey: First try holding the panic button on your keyless remote for five seconds. Then, press the lock button twice. If that doesn't work, you can remove the fuse associated with the anti-theft system for one minute.

If the remote was programmed before loss of power, push and hold the unlock button until the alarm stops. If not try locking and unlocking the drivers side door with the the key. This has reset the alarm on my 2001 Odyssey.

You will also need the unlock code to reactivate your stereo after long term power loss. It is on a card with the manual given to the owner of new vehicles. A smart dealer will put it on a sticker in the glove box. Otherwise you have to remove the radio and give a Honda dealer the radio serial number to get the unlock code. Don't try it randomly; 10 incorrect tries locks the stereo.

with the ignition on and the radiopower off,you have to hold down the 1 and 6 buttons on the radio.hold them and turn on the radio power. 2 series of 4 digits will show. call a honda dealer with the 2 sets of numbers,and they will give you the radio code. sorry i do not reply.

You must take the radio out to get the Serial #'s on top of the radio. Go to radio-navicode.honda.com and follow the direction. If you put in the wrong informations it will give you the numbers to call the honda operator. Give the operator all the informations and the radio Serial #'s.

You need to be very careful Each failed attempt causes a long delay before you can enter it again. Follow the instructions exactly. You may need to use the car for a day or more before attempting it again if you failed too many times. The radio should say CODE not ERROR. Error means no code can be entered now. You must wait until the radio displays CODE.

go to the dealer with your registration , ownership papers and, vin# the dealer will reset it

Pull the radio out, and go to the Honda dealer. Have proof that the car is yours, and they will be able to give you the code based on the model ID#.

The only way to get the code is giving the serial number off the radio to the loacl Honda dealer. They can then look it up through Honda's radio code database. If you remove the radio yourself, they might not charge to give you the code.
