Sounds more like you have some leaking fuel injectors. If however you cannot see any leaks, thats not very One other thing you might have to do is check all the hoses to and from the tank. Check your gas cap for proper fuctionality and the charcoal canister.

Strong raw fuell smell inside the car intermitantly

Usually, what you smell inside the car is coming thru the vent from the engine compartment.
So it could be a leak around the engine or the vapor canister. Its possible the canister gets overloaded from time to time when the computer vents the gas tank to the canister. A very small leak can be a very strong smell inside the car.

On 2005 ford taurus air conditioner quit cooling and white smoke coming from under the hood

You need to have your A/C checked as that chemical smell was the freon which is a deadly gas if inhaled.

I am getting strong raw gas fumes blowing in through my vents into the cab of my 2005 Pontiac Aztec. What could be causing this and is it safe to continue driving?

If they are truly raw gas fumes you have a gas leak. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR. It can start on fire if the gas leak is under the hood, or if it's somewhere else and someone throws a **** out the window it could start on fire too. I would have it towed to a mechanic immediately. If you are mechanically inclined and know where your fuel filter is under the hood you could check those fuel lines first to see if they are cracked or leaking. If you have jackstands you could put the car up on 4 of those and check underneath the car and inspect the lines from the tank to the filter to the engine. If you are not mechanically inclined I would air on the side of caution and take it to a mechanic ASAP. If it is exhaust you are smelling and not raw gas, it is still not safe to drive. Exhaust fumes do not take long to put you to sleep and when you go to sleep you do not usually wake up. I would get it in to get looked at before driving it again. Good Luck!

I have a 94 grand prix se 3.1. When i first start it ir smells like gas. It goes away and then comes back at red lights..... I cant find any leaks... Any ideas?

It may be the fuel pressure regulator located on the fuel rail on top of the motor it leaches out a very small amount of gas when they start to go inspect it if it looks even a little bit wet replace it, if this is not wet then the gas cap may not be venting properly replace it.

Fuel leak (smell is in the passenger vent) but cannot be located.

sounds like it could be a leaking fuel rail. you should fix this very soon. if it is it is a fire hazard. that is if it is under hood and not underneath. look under vehicle and check for wet spots.

Acts like its running out of gas, raw gas smell

this suggests you have a fuel leak in the engine compartment. Possibly a leaking fuel manifold (injection rail), or the rubber line from the fuel tank is leaking where it attaches to the manifold. The fuel line to the cold start injector should also be checked. Rubber hoses on older cars become brittle and as they contract from very cold weather will leak. Turn the key to on for 1 minute but do not start the car. Then check under the hood for a raw fuel wet spot where the leak is.

Fuel smell

Your carbon canister may be saturated with fuel due to a clogged filter, this is part of the fuel vapor recovery system, or Evaporative emissions system. The canister looks like a coffee can or in some cases it is oblong shaped, it may be in the finder liner or out in the open near the radiator.
