SOURCE: car electric window not working

If you can hear the motor spinning but the window doesn't move there is a problem in the window regulator, the gear on the motor is stripped or the window fell off the track. The door panel will have to be removed to investigate further.

WE REPLACED THE ENGINE AND NOW THE THERE IS NO POWER GOING TO THE WINDOW MOTORS

Do all lights turn on, etc? If there is no electrical problems anywhere else, either the window motor power connections were disconnected or the fuse was blown at some point working on the engine. My bet is simply the window motor fuse is blown, especially if all window motors don't work.

Can't roll done rear electric windows

If both windows stopped working at the same time then you should check your fuse box to make sure you don't have a blown fuse.

Both electric rear windows do not operate

Hi,

Thanks for using FixYa!

If the rear power windows don't work. Its possible that you have a blown fuse for the rear side windows. Open up the fusebox usually located under the dashboard. Check the fusebox manual. Locate the fuse for the rear power windows. check if the fuse is blown. Replace the fuse. im 98% sure that its just a blown fuse.

Have a wonderful day.

Electrical problem with car

You can just look at the fuses in the fuse box to see if they are blown. Pull them out with plyers or  a fuse puller and see if the fuse is broken. They are see-thru so they are easy to recognise.  You window motors may have just given out if your window fell. Or, the windows could be off track.
Depends on what else is going on.
