Question about 1998 Isuzu Rodeo
Every now and again my 3.2L v6 1998model 4wd holden rodeo makes a click noise when i try to start it, it is my starter motor but can i pull it out and pull it apart to fix it my self or do i have to buy a new one or can i get away with jus buying a new soilnoid for it?
The click is the solenoid hitting the bendix, try geting someone to turn the key,and as they do,tap the starter with a hammer, or heavy wrench, if it starts, then its the solenoid, and it can be stripped and replaced, if it doesnt start, then its the bendix, and you will need to replace the starter, ....which you can do yourself, .....takes about an hour or so
