SOURCE: air conditioner, fuel gauge, and temp gauge all stopped working at the same time

Three possibilities;
All related to blown fuses,

1- Fuse blown in the engine compartment LH.
2- Fuse blown in the cabin forward LH below the dashboard (below your legs left hand).
3- Fuse blown in the harness (wire bundles) below the dashboard very easy to reach with your hands “just look underneath steering wheel ".

U said " The air conditioner blows, but the air is not cold.
" Yes only the fan working which might receiving power independent all from those other mentioned things.
If all fuses OK. Then look for broken wires.

Regards;

SOURCE: 96 volvo 850 speedometer somtimes works then it drops to 0

Two questions: Is your odometer working? If not then it's probably a broken gear by the stepper motor that Emissionwiz mentioned. Is your ABS and/or TRACS light on intermittently or constantly. If so that is a common sign your ABS control module has gone or is going bad. This usually happens before the speedometer starts acting up. Either one of these will start intermittently and finally end up with the speedometer not functioning at all, and both are pretty common failures with this model.

I have a 1996 volvo 850 turbo my fan #1 ra don't work so i have to used #2 fan that the ac fan with blow motor on hi to keep it from over heating.

are you getting power to the fan? could be a weak fan motor. I would start by checking Fuse then relay the check the temp sensor the fan don't use the same sensor as the temp gauge.

Volvo 850 smoke coming from exhaust manifold

Not to worry. Run the engine up to operating temp before jumping to conclusions and let the heat burn off any excess oil. A leaf will not do any damage.Do not let the engine overheat while idling and if the oil light comes on switch off immediately.
The smoke from the exhaust is oil deposited by oily assembly hands just burning off. It should dissipate after about 15 minutes at most.(or 5 miles' drive)

Where is fuel filter on 1997 Volvo 850 T-5

The fuel filter is located on the passenger side near the rear wheel well, just in front of the rear axle, around 60cm in front of the fuel tank. Look for the fuel lines running underneath the car. The filter is around 12-13cm in length and around 7cm in diameter, probably covered in road grime,
