'06 Jeep Liberty power windows

This has happened to me twice in the 6 months that I've own my '06 Liberty. I did like the car a lot... this happening just makes me so frustrated to even get in it! I feel like anything can just snap off of this piece... My car is also just outside the warranty. When you know you have a problem, be responsible and recall it! No wonder Chrysler is bankrupt, terrible customer service.
Everyone first of all needs to call Chrysler and complain, also sign this petition...

I've got no idea what your actual problem is but I know what you are talking about...But it's not isolated to Chrysler...The corporate elitist attitude prevails throughout the industry.Especially now with so many dealerships getting "canned" by the manufacturers it should be obvious to them that instead of going out of business, they have the ideal situation to continue on as large, well equipped repair shops...Instead, the continue treating customers as if they are doing them a favor and even so, not addressing their issues properly. This drives customers away...Their engineers made the cars what they are today..overpriced,.unreliable rolling computers. You don't get better mpg having a computer roll up the windows etc. so what is this about??? As a lifetime tech, I have the utmost sympathy for the customer...This junk has gone way too far!!!

Keep on ur dealer, if u registered the problem before the warranty went out they should make it right. also - there is a new style regulator for the liberty that solves this issue so again take it back and hold thier feet to the fire.

My keyless entry stopped working on my 2005 Jeep Liberty. Replaced the battery on the key and tried my backup key nothing happens.

YOU WILL PROBABLY NEED TO HAVE THE REMOTES REPROGRAMED TO YOUR JEEP IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY LOST THEIR PROGRAM,LOTS OF THINGS CAN CAUSR THAT TO HAPPEN ,LIKE HAVING THEM TO CLOSE TO A MAGNET LIKE LAYING YOUR KEYS ON THE HOME STEREO SPEAKER,OR CLOCK RADIO,DROPPING THEM SEVERAL TIMES, ETC,& ITS POSSIBLE THEY WILL NEED TO BE REDONE AFTER THE BATTERY REPLACEMENT.

Rear window falls down

The same thing just happened to me. I took off the door panel, pulled off the white barrier, and found the problem. There is a white plastic connector at the bottom of the window that connects the cable to the window and the track for the power-window. The connector has broke and the cable cannot grip the connector so the window falls. Its hard to tell because it will still be connected to the track, its just a small part of the connector that broke off. I have found that the only way to fix it is to replace the whole assembly. Don't waste time taking apart the motor housing, it is a pain. I found, and bought, the whole assembly on ebay motors for $120.00 shipping and all. If you have some tech abilities it shouldnt be too bad. If you need more info, just e-mail me, Im waiting for my part and will be assembling soon.
