Braked and unbraked towing capacity is listed at 1500/750kg for the 2.4-litre models, while the 2.2 diesel and 3.0 petrol both list 2000kg braked and 750kg unbraked.

OK I do have Towing capabilities for my Captiva 7 LTZ Diesel. The caravan is rated at 1750 kgs loaded. Question- What is the towing capacity of a Captiva 7 Diesel

carpoint.com.au suggests a tow limit of 1700 kgs with a max ball weight of 170 kg
if it is a 2.2 L diesel it is less than a 3.2 L petrol which is 2000 kgs
in your configuration you will need anti-sway bars or load levelers to get the ball weight down to the 170 kgs
then if you load the van for touring it will be well over the specs for the vehicle
the towing capacity should be on the plate inside a front door pillar along with tyre sizes and pressures

What is the maximum Towing ATM for my 2016 Holden Captiva 7 diesel 2.2l? Various sources claim anything between 1700kg to 2000kg.

It is 2000 Kg braked, and 750 Kg unbraked. That is the same in 2WD and AWD. However check on the rated capacity of the towbar and hitch, as you must not exceed that.

What is the towing performance of a kia sportage 2ltr 4wd

Towing

Kia lists a maximum trailer towing mass (trailer plus load) of 1800 kg for the Sportage but that figure would be illegal in NSW. For light commercials (such as the Sportage) in NSW, the regulations state that the loaded trailer must not exceed 2/3s of the gross vehicle mass (GYM) of the towing vehicle. The Sportage's GVM is 1928 kg, resulting in an allowable maximum towing mass of 1292 kg. Even this figure could be beyond the Sportage's reasonable capabilities, given its sub standard handling and its overall levels of performance.

Towing capacity ?

The Kia Optima does not have a towing capacity. Kia does not recommend towing with any of their cars. CURT does offer a hitch for the Optima. CURT 11216. The class II hitch has a 2,000lb rating on it. As a manufacturer CURT does not suggest exceeding the towing capacity of the Optima (in this case that means not towing at all), but this doesn't mean that you couldn't. If it were me I would if i had to.

What is the to capacity of a 2006 kia sportage i don't have the owner's manual and want to tow a trailer

Most cars are about 1/2 ton capacity(1000 pounds) Towing a small trailer should be fine as long as the weight at the hitch ball is less than 200 pounds. Load the trailer so the most of the weight is on the trailer not your car.Remember to keep the tire pressure correct on the trailer and your car and give yourself plenty of stopping space as the car will respond slower with the extra weight. Also try to take off kind of slow and easy so you dont over work your cars transmission. An add on type auxillery transmission cooler is recommended.
I hope this info helps you.
