SOURCE: location of engine thermostats on 2003 ch2500hd turbo diesel

Check this location.
Between the alternator and A/C compressor, on the top. The other thermostat with vent holes goes toward the rear of the engine.
I believe the temp ratings are different for each.
Let engine cool before working on it.
Clean up an spilled radiator fluid. It will destroy pets liver in 24 hours if they drink it.

SOURCE: need diagram of how to locate on the engine

cooler located on passenger side front. Remove oil filter and find 10-15 10mm bolts. Cooler is sandwiched between filter head plate and the block, two gaskets, not much trouble to fix. Good luck...

SOURCE: mazda 6 2o diesel replaced turbo new unit same

There is a oil drain return from the turbo charger to the sump. If the sump oil level covers the outlet into the sump, oil will build excess pressure tin the turbo causing the sealing rings to leak oil in to the intake manifold. This would cause smokey exhaust and loss of oil. Try this. Drain the sump completely, refill with the exact quantity of oil to Mazda spec. Dip the oil and if the new oil level is lower than the full mark on the dipstick, you have found the cause of the problem. Mark this new level with a scriber or file and fill only to this new level. Hope this is the solution.

SOURCE: were is the egr valve located for mazda rotege5

2002 Mazda Protege5 with the FS2.0 Motor. The EGR Valve is located below the throttle-body. You must take off the Intake tube to get a good view of it. To replace it I think you might have to take off the throttle-body.

Good luck (remember rated this).

Can anyone let me know where I can find a manual for my model of BT50

Just came across the site you need! Very helpful looking so I think you'll find your answer there, although you did not say what year. Go to this link, which says you can download for free:

Whistle from turbo.. 2007 mazda bt50 2.5 diesel turbo. . While accelerating I get this whistle noise in the cab. High pitched sort of. it sounds like its around the passenger side footwell.. if driving...

locate the waste-gate and see if you can cover it temporarily while driving. see if this changes it any. It could have a pin sized hole in the diaphragm. just a guess.

2006 f350 6.0 powerstroke diesel missing. help

there is no wastegate on a 6.0l turbo. its a variable geometry turbocharger and doesn't need it. i have never seen a turbocharger cause a misfire, the turbocharger is most likely not your problem. if you didn't clean the intake out when replacing the egr valve there is a really good chance that the egr is bad again. also, a bad egr cooler can cause repeat egr failure. also, fuel injector control module is a common cause for misfire

F250 Lariat Diesel turbo no function sometimes and exhaust smoke white

you didnt specify if this is a 6L or 6.4L since its an 07 it could be either. If 6.0L, White smoke typically indicates a blown egr cooler and this usually damages the egr valve which may cause it to fail open allowing the coolant to enter the combustion chambers and be burnt and cause white smoke, If its a 6.4L I have seen the highside turbo bearings fail causing poor performance and seal failure resulting in oil getting into exhaust, high exhaust temps make it burn and it may appear as a whitish colored smoke depending on severity. Hopefully for you its a 6.0L becuase the 6.4L turbo r&r is a repair where we remove the entire cab from the truck. However your not much better off with 6.0L since egr cooler/oil cooler job can easily run you $1500-2000.

I have a mazda 6 2 litre diesel eating oil, what

Mazda say that if your Mazda 6 consumues less than a litre every 900 miles then it within tolerance.
However these cars have a complicated induction mechanism controld by lots of diffrent vacume pots that are inturn controlled by servos, when any one of these becomes faulty the pressure balance between the exhaust side of the turbo and the inlet side becomes inbalanced, resulting in oil being forced through the turbos bearings. Its that simple lol!
The first thing I would check would be the swirl control valve, In the inlet manifold, This gets fouled up by the exhaust gases getting recycled by the egr valve(exhaust gas recycler)
Sooty deposits mix with oil coming from your turbo and jam it closed restricting the amount of air into the engine, and reducing power as well as creating black smoke from your exhaust.
So my advice would be to get your egr valve proffetionally blanked off, and have your induction system checked over.
Hope this helps as I am sure this is a very common problem!
