Check your battery cables and terminals. If they are ok, check your altenator because it might not be charging the battery properly.

I have a 2001 Mazda MPV the problem is this it will start fine fir awhile and then I will go out and wont start. Yet if I try it again later it will start up no problem it has got a couple of mechanics...

If it is turning over when it does not start, may be a fuel pump going bad. Gets hot and stalls out and won\'t start till it cools
down. Must be replaced. Check fuel filter as well. Could also be something as simple as a bad battery, starter or alternator connection... Corrosion is a bummer!

Car won't start without being charged and when it sits overnight it wont start. makes a clicking noise when trying to start it

Battery is to weak & not holding charge. If the battery does not have enough power the starter will make a fast clicking sound or you will just hear one click.

My blazer had to be jumped and now that it ran for awhile i shut it off and now i get power but no clicking from trying to start it

If it won't restart now by jumping with another battery, unfortunately sounds like the starter has locked up...sometimes but not always, you can use a hammer to tap the starter then try this need to replace the starter so you won't be stranded:)

1994 jeep, wont start, wont run

It sounds like you may have a bad connection somewhere. Start with your battery cables and then look at all of your ground wires as well. When you try to start your jeep see if the wires from the battery get hot.

96 pontiac battery drains itself

Sounds like it IS the alternator. Batteries sometimes have a bit of a life of their own after sitting for awhile and will start a car. Once running, it will continue until the battery charge dies completely...especially when not using radio, A/C, lights etc... Also, it could be an alternator belt, (or surpentine belt) too lose on the alternator. Finally, check the battery for water level. If it is the type that requires water, sometimes people forget to fill it when sold.

The battery light was on i drove it for awhile then it just stalled and wouldn't start until it cooled down then it started again then it wouldn't start ot turn over. we changed the battery and the starter...

check your regulator
if u have a multimeter, run it across ur battery when the cars running, it should be around 13-14v's. if its lower it should be that ur alternators not chargeing, if its really high it might be ur regulator
