No power at ac clutch

There is a high and low side pressure switch that disconnects the power to the compressor clutch if the refrigerant charge is too high or too low.

I am trying to troubleshoot my 2002 saturn l200. My AC is not working. The button light comes on, but I feel the compressor not coming on. I check the fuse and it's ok?

most likely you are low on freon and the pressure switch will not allow the compressor clutch to engage. one way to tell if that is what is happening is to find the pressure switch located on the low pressure side of the system. you can tell witch line is the low pressure side because it is larger in diameter than the high side. Then take a wire and jump the two wires that go to the switch together. If the compressor starts to run then charge the system with freon. If it does not run then check the relay.

I have a 2002 jeep grand cherokee lerado with a 4.0 my oil pressure is normal when i drive but when i stop my pressure goes low

A low oil level will cause this. If the oil level is fine, then you need to have a mechanical gauge to verify the pressure is really low and that you don't have a bad oil pressure switch. You could try replacing the switch first if you don't want to put an oil pressure gauge in the vehicle. If the pressure is indeed low and the oil level is normal then replace the oil filter to see if that brings the pressure back up. If the pressure is still low, remove the oil pan to check the pick-up tube for debris. If it is clear of debris then you'll be needing to replace the oil pump. Another possible cause of low pressure is a damaged rod or main bearing and would require the engine to be rebuilt.

2002 SATURN L200

Had the same thing happen on my '02 Saturn L200 a few years ago. The brights would come on every now and then when using the turn signal, but after a while they would stay on and the turn signal/headlight switch handle would flop around. After taking it apart, it turned out the plastic on the inside was broken. The switch was relatively inexpensive (<$50) from the dealership and easy to install for the somewhat mechanically inclined.

2002 Saturn L200 A/C compressor is not engaging.

yes their is a switch that senses the amount of gas pressure and shuts down system if their is not enough pressure, but playing with a high pressure system like this can seriously maim,so iam advising you to take it to a repair shop with a proper machine to discharge the system and then check for the faults ,but most likely cause is lack of reserve gas in the system and it just wants a re gas
