Question about 1999 Ford Windstar
2001 windstar; at times antitheft will allow engine to turn over at times but still wont start and starter drags acts like low voltage in battery. Voltage is 12.6 and was fine before this problem;engine turns over fine when i use my starter button connected to the solenoid,it also wont start this way with ignition turned on.
Turn off anti theft prob might be between ig. switch and solenoid

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 15 -- 30 minutes, it may allow the anti-theft device to reset....
