Question about 2001 Saturn L-Series
First check for a bad fuse in the fuse panel. Then if all looks good in there, you will need to remove the instrumental panel and see if it is getting power with a volt meter (make sure the car is turned on when checking). If it is getting power, then replace the instrument cluster (preferably with one from www.car-parts.com as used ones are cheaper). If it isn't getting power, then you need to trace down a broken wire, or a bad ground in the system which is a pain. Let me know how this works out.
