2004- Nissan Armada Where is the camshaft position sensor location on a V8 /5.6

the autodata book shows this engine as having 4 camshafts driven by chains
there will therefore be 2 cam position sensors ( one for each bank) as there are to drive chains
look at the rear of the block of each head or they could be inside the rocker covers
a workshop manual would be of immense help in working on the engine

The starter on the Nissan 5.6 V8 is located between the cylinder banks on top of the engine under the intake plenum. To remove it you must dismantle the intake system.
