hello, the abs is a separate issue one of your wheel sensors is not reading properly have the abs scanned to find out which one Brake pads will not cause the abs light to come on :)

Sounds like rear brakes are not working at all and the front is doing all the work I bet you have a pulsating in the brake pedal too right? Rotors are probably warped from over heating and in spec front calpiers they may be semi seized from the heat also and age. You haven't removed any Calipers or has to bleed the system have you?

If the break locks up, then the ABS is not working, thats what ABS is built to stop, sensors may be faulty,

I'd be checking the sensor (ABS) at that wheel, (right front) and adjusting rear brakes to proper clearance, as well as inspect them for proper operation with wheels off.

Abslight stays on. How to fix? This is a2007trailblazer?

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.
DTC C0035 or C0040
DTC C0045 or C0050
DTC C0110
DTC C0131
DTC C0161
DTC C0186
DTC C0196
DTC C0201
DTC C0240
DTC C0241 or P0856
DTC C0244 or P1689
DTC C0245
DTC C0283
DTC C0287
DTC C0290 or C0292
DTC C0455
DTC C0550
DTC C0558

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

Exactly where under the hood of a '95 Chevy G20, van do you disconnect the rear ABS PUMP?

The ABS module is not under the hood.It is under the van floor on the passenger side at about the middle of the van.Slide under the Van at the passenger side cargo door and look up.

Brake system

The front reservoir (the small one)is for the rear brakes.Have you pulled the rear brake drums and checked the wheel cylinders for leaks?
Is the rubber seal on the reservoir cap in place?
Follow the lines carefully to the rear brake hose and on the axle to the brake cylinders too.
Lastly,it can be leaking from the front section of the master cyl internally to the rear section of the master cyl but not likely.

Chevy 95 g20 van 8 cylinder wiring order spark plugs

1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 The #1 spark plug is the front spark plug on the drivers side and the cylinder location in order from front to back on the drivers side is 1-3-5-7 and on the passenger side it is 2-4-6-8. The ignition rotor rotation is clockwise.

If your Distributor cap is not numbered then replace the new wires, or transfer the old ones to the new distributor cap one wire at a time. Identify the #1 spark plug wire and start from there.

95 G20 Chevy van: ABS light stays on, pulls right when braking

You actually have two separate problems. The brake pull to the right is indicating the left side brake is not working properly. You will want to remove the left front wheel, collapse the caliper piston and make sure the caliper is floating freely on its mounts.
With the piston collapsed you should be able to slide the caliper inboard and outboard of the rotor. If not, you will want to remove the attachment pins, clean and lubricate the pins. If they are grooved or worn you will have to replace them.
The second issue of the ABS light is indicating the system has detected an electrical sensing or control problem. Take the vehicle to your local Auto Zone or Advance Auto and ask them to scan the vehicle for trouble codes. They will scan it for you at no charge.
Chances are you will find a wheel speed sensor problem at one of the wheels.
Write the codes down and respond back, we can start diagnosing the problem,
Good luck, let me know.
Regards,
